It only needs a GPS track
Any GPX file from a phone app, watch or handheld works. Speed and distance are worked out from the track if the file doesn't include them.

Questions
Can I use my phone's video?
Yes, as long as it's an MP4 or MOV file. Phone clips carry a recording time, so sync usually works straight away. Clips of a minute or more are then fine-tuned from the picture if there's a clear match.
